Scotland, James IV, 1488-1513.  Heavy coinage of 1489 - c.1496.  Silver Halfgroat, S.5335, 1.05 g., 18 mm.  Facing bust w crown of 5 fleurs. Q at end of legend.  Rx. Crowns and 3 pellets and an annulet, alternating quadrants of cross with no lis.  Reverse as S.5332, w addition of a single annulet w each of the alternating 3 pellets.

Very Fine for wear.  A substantial fragment, say 70%, showing the full bust, and the surrounding obv legend boldly and plainly.  The reverse complete inner circle w devices.  An extremely rare denomination.  $800.
