William Boyne's Copy of Simon's Essay on the Irish Coins

James Simon, An Essay towards an Historical Account of Irish Coins, and of the Currency of Foregin (sic) Monies in Ireland. with an Appendix containing Several Statutes, Proclamations, Patents, Acts of State, and Letters relating to the Same. Dublin 1749.   Xv., 184 pp., 8 plates.  Ex William Boyne, with his gold book plate on the front cover.  Inside the bookplate of T. Rowland Kent, Solicitor, Reading, and the signed notation by him, "This book formerly belonged to W. Boyne, author of 'Boyne's 17th Century Tokens'".  Corners rounded and binding a little loose, a couple worm holes affecting a few pages but not the text.  A most excellent pedigree.
